Pour fêter 20 années de pratique, Benoît Fauchier propose un spectacle entièrement dédié à la Spirale, agrès de cirque acrobatique, poétique et imprévisible. À travers elle, il explore les multiples manières de jouer, de danser, de dialoguer et de se laisser transformer par une forme en mouvement.
Le spectacle est conçu comme un patchwork de six tableaux d’environ dix minutes, traversant différents langages scéniques : cirque, danse, clown, musique, ombres et magie. Chaque séquence révèle une facette différente de la Spirale, alternant intensité physique, poésie visuelle et humour.
En filigrane, le projet questionne la relation entre l’homme et l’objet : qui guide qui ? Qui s’adapte ? Où se situe l’équilibre entre contrôle et lâcher-prise ? Ces questions nourrissent une écriture vivante, accessible et profondément ancrée dans le corps.
Pensé pour tourner largement, le spectacle s’adresse à tous les publics et affirme une écriture circassienne contemporaine, engagée dans le mouvement, la recherche et le plaisir du jeu.
To celebrate his 20 years of work, Benoît Fauchier presents a performance entirely dedicated to the Spiral, an acrobatic circus apparatus, poetic and unpredictable. Through it, he explores the many ways of playing, dancing, dialoguing and allowing oneself to be transformed by a form in motion.
The show is conceived as a patchwork of six scenes of about ten minutes each, moving through different stage languages : circus, dance, clowning, music, shadows, and magic. Each sequence reveals a different facet of the Spiral, alternating physical intensity, visual poetry, and humor.
Beneath it all, the project questions the relationship between human and object: who leads whom? Who adapts? Where does the balance lie between control and letting go? These questions inform a living and accessible form of writing that is deeply rooted in the body.
Designed to tour widely, the performance is intended for all audiences and asserts a contemporary circus language—committed to movement, research, and the joy of play.
